A very colorful block. While it appears to be a busy place, it is not really. Nearly everyone is passing through, not shopping. If I had a better camera it would have also showed the stream of water from the bird. Oh well. Here is what I have.

Life Capture
Kind of interesting artistic deal I was going for.
Life Capture
Wanted to take this one for awhile. I want to avoid just taking an image of art, because that is sort of cheating when the idea is finding art in the world around us. This is just the very top of a larger fountain though, so I think it is fair game.
Life Capture
I wanted to do a Life Capture tonight. I looked at my phone battery and saw I was running out of time, both to decide where to go and to take the video. I made up my mind to go to the IDS building and take a second video of the fountain, then compare it to the one I took before, which was during the day. When I neared the building, I gazed up at the skyline as if it would tell me where to find something more interesting. So consumed by trying to find something to look at, I had shut off my ears. Suddenly, I became aware of a street performer on a brass instrument. In my quest to find a picture I had forgotten all about sound. I pointed my phone towards the skyline and took a five second video of the sight I viewed when I heard the music. The sight is not that impressive (quite abstract in fact), but I post this as a reminder to myself and the world to keep not only their eyes open, but their ears. After taking the video, I tipped the performer fifty-some cents and continued on with my walk.
Life Capture
Just another Life Capture. Sort of going for a horizon kinda thing.
Life Capture
Take it or leave it. I liked this one more in concept, my phone could not capture it as well as I wish it could have.
Life Capture
This one is, in large part, a sound bite (or lack there of). On the weekends, the otherwise ultra busy and bustling sykways are near silent. I took this outside of the Well’s Fargo center I think.
Life Capture
Another Life Capture post. I took two because I did not like the first one, but looking back at it it had its own interesting quality so I uploaded it and the second one. Watch for the ghostly reflections in this first one and compare to the person walking across the street… sort of interesting.
And the second one has a bit more action going on.
I like them both. Was sort of fun to take too, had to crouch down in the skyway to get the right angle.
Life Capture
The interesting reflection on the side of the building was what caught my eye. I think it is being caused by the nearby one with the odd shaped glass. It almost looked like water, and was very relaxing to the eyes.
Walking back I saw someone taking a picture of a building as well, just as I saw someone taking a picture through the skyway roof. It is nice to know I am not the only one wanting to snap a few pictures of the world around me.
Life Capture
I took this one wondering how often people look up. Walking back from lunch I was put at ease. I saw a man walking with his wife along the sky-way into the IDS building stop and remove from his pocket a small camera. He held it up and snapped a picture through the glass very much like my life capture I took not over half an hour before.
This was a fun one to take though. I had one person look up to see what I was looking at and turned her face down with a awed expression. The world is an amazing place.
