A serene sight outside of the orchestra hall. I like the audio clip a lot here too. That was what caught my attention, followed by the water. I took two this time.
First I took this one.
Unsatisfied with the audio, I then took this one right after it. Too much wind drowned out the birds the first time!
Just another Life Capture. I laughed when the audio provided by idle conversation of those walking by turned out as it did. Something about a rabid dog?
A very colorful block. While it appears to be a busy place, it is not really. Nearly everyone is passing through, not shopping. If I had a better camera it would have also showed the stream of water from the bird. Oh well. Here is what I have.
Wanted to take this one for awhile. I want to avoid just taking an image of art, because that is sort of cheating when the idea is finding art in the world around us. This is just the very top of a larger fountain though, so I think it is fair game.
I wanted to do a Life Capture tonight. I looked at my phone battery and saw I was running out of time, both to decide where to go and to take the video. I made up my mind to go to the IDS building and take a second video of the fountain, then compare it to the one I took before, which was during the day. When I neared the building, I gazed up at the skyline as if it would tell me where to find something more interesting. So consumed by trying to find something to look at, I had shut off my ears. Suddenly, I became aware of a street performer on a brass instrument. In my quest to find a picture I had forgotten all about sound. I pointed my phone towards the skyline and took a five second video of the sight I viewed when I heard the music. The sight is not that impressive (quite abstract in fact), but I post this as a reminder to myself and the world to keep not only their eyes open, but their ears. After taking the video, I tipped the performer fifty-some cents and continued on with my walk.
This one is, in large part, a sound bite (or lack there of). On the weekends, the otherwise ultra busy and bustling sykways are near silent. I took this outside of the Well’s Fargo center I think.
Another Life Capture post. I took two because I did not like the first one, but looking back at it it had its own interesting quality so I uploaded it and the second one. Watch for the ghostly reflections in this first one and compare to the person walking across the street… sort of interesting.
And the second one has a bit more action going on.
I like them both. Was sort of fun to take too, had to crouch down in the skyway to get the right angle.
